NIO

We’re gonna talk about NIO first. they made some huge moves off of their sales report when they sold over ten thousand vehicles. unlike many of the other EV companies that we are talking about, they actually have vehicles on the road. so this isn’t more so a speculative play.

Honestly, we would compare NIO to a young Tesla. right now, they’re not profitable. but they have a bright future. NIO is obviously a younger company, and they have a lot of scaling to do, and right now their focus is on their production capacity. as long as they’re improving the number of cars that they’re able to produce each and every year, this company is definitely gonna be profitable.

Blink Charging

The next company that we want to talk about is Blink. Blink is the largest operator of EV charging stations across the United States. so they make profits off of all the companies and all the businesses that want to have any charging stations. their Blink membership allows its members to get discounted prices. that way they come back to their stations, and although these memberships come at no cost. they’re making a ton of profit off of the companies that they sell these stations to, and then up charging the EV drivers for charging their wheels.

Blink has yet to report positive earnings per share, but we still have a bullish outlook on this company. with the massive adoption of electric vehicles over the next decade and their 15,000 charging stations, this company is definitely set up for success.

Workhorse

Workhorse is a little bit different than all the other EV companies that we’re talking about. because they’re focused on last mountain deliveries. this company is actually in the process of producing vehicles.

Right now, they’re making between one and two vans every day. and they have a goal of producing three to four hundred vehicles by the end of the year. ups and DHL combined have put in 1,100 orders for their vehicles. so there’s a lot of demand and not a lot of supply which means they can hike their prices. despite not having any bans on the roads yet. they still profited for the first quarter and we think they’ll become more profitable as they begin to make and sell more vehicles.

ElectraMeccanica

ElectraMeccanica has some pretty funky looking vehicles. as our Ticker suggests this is a one-seater vehicle which seems pretty impractical. but maybe people are buying it from Lux. we don’t know these solar vehicles have a suggested price of $18,000 which seems a little bit high. these cars really remind us of the smart car they’re even smaller.

ElectraMeccanica also sells other more normal vehicles that really give me the vibe of a 1990s Porsche. they seem to be really proud of their performance. but they have a long way to go. if they want to compete with Tesla. overall we’re not the biggest fan of the stock. but they are pretty neat and some people actually might enjoy them.

Hyliion

Hyliion has become mildly popular overall this EV craze. but we think that they deserve a little more recognition. we’ve been hearing a lot of great things about Hyliion crops, and what makes them different from Nicola and Tesla is that they don’t supply the trucks, they just convert them. this ultimately brings down their operating cost. because they don’t have to spend thousands on developing these trucks. they just have to put it in the battery packs and rip out the old infrastructure.

On top of having their own low operating costs, they also help bring down the operating costs of their trucks for their customers. comparing Hyliion to Nikola or Tesla, they have the lowest cost of operating their vehicles by a long shot. their Hypertruck is also the first-ever Class eight-vehicle or 18-wheeler that has a net negative carbon footprint. one fleet of their vehicles is enough to offset the emissions of the entire state of California.

We think that a lot of people can get behind this because they’re cheaper they’re more efficient and green. honestly what’s not so light about Hyliion.

Nikola

Nikola. we’re not gonna lie the Nikola Badger is pretty cool looking and it reminds us of the Ford Raptor. they finally started to take deposits on their pre-orders which means now they have more cash to deal with, and this will help them with liquidity ultimately this little quiddity will help them to reduce these vehicles that way they can get the show on the road. when as of right now they don’t have any cars on the road, and we don’t even know an estimated delivery date for these Badgers. if you have any information on that, please leave it down in the comments below because we’d love to stay informed about this company.

Tesla

Finally, we couldn’t leave out the big fat Tesla. Tesla makes the fastest most efficient and arguably the sleekest electric vehicles on the road right now. when you have big companies that are trying to snap at their dicks. Ford and Porsche are trying to make their own electric vehicles. but they’re way behind on battery technology. of course, though, not everybody likes Tesla’s and cars are personal preference. but they do have the most electric vehicles on the road out of any other company. with such a large advantage in every technology in a massive production capacity, Tesla has really set itself up for the EV future.
